    KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded JE Dunn Construction Company, 1001 Locust St, Kansas City, Mo. 64106, a $295,974,160 design-build contract for the construction of Hospital Replacement facilities that will be built on Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. As the construction agent for Defense Health Agency, the Kansas City District is responsible for the design, construction and delivery of these facilities.

    The site is located within the installation's main post cantonment area and is bounded by First St, Nebraska Ave, North Dakota Ave and Missouri Ave. The project will feature a 235,400 square foot hospital, 193,300 square foot clinic, central utility plant, emergency back-up generators, five bay ambulance garage, helipad, and supporting facilities.
