The new 377th Medical Support Squadron Commander, Lt. Col. Kelly Detering was given command during an assumption of command ceremony, July 1, 2019 at Kirtland Air Force Base.

The presiding officer, Col. Gregory Coleman, 377th Medical Group commander, conducted the assumption of command in the wing presentation center. Having worked with Detering before, Coleman knows of the leadership that she brings to the table.

“I have no doubt that she is ready to lead this squadron to even greater heights,” said Coleman. “We are lucky to have Kelly’s expertise and experience at the medical group and in leading the 377th MDSS. I thank you in advanced for your leadership.”
