    90th Missile Wing

Lieutenant Col. Amy Grant took command of the 321st Missile Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 28, 2019, on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo.

Grant previously served as the 319th Missile Squadron director of operations.

Lieutenant Col. Joel Douglas, outgoing 321st MS commander, will become the inspector general at the Wyoming National Guard.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Grant noted that the 321st ‘Green Tails’ mission will continue to push forward through the change in leadership.

“Nothing significant is changing today,” said Grant. “Our mission remains the same. We will continue to operate safe and secure nuclear weapons, maintain mission ready facilities and upon order destroy designated targets. It is with great pleasure that I commit today to ensure all green tails, not just survive, but thrive while accomplishing this challenging mission for our nation.”
