Congratulations to Michael Fedoroff, deputy director, Tribal Nations Technical Center of Excellence. Fedoroff, and his archeology team, was recognized by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Southeast Region “for your commitment and dedication to fish and wildlife conservation by presenting you with the 2017-2018 Regional Director's Conservation Award for your work as part of the Doskie Mound Investigative Team. This award is presented to partners who have made extraordinary contributions to the conservation of natural resources in the Southeast Region. With partners like you, our conservation efforts multiply far beyond what we can do alone.”

The Service presented the award to Fedoroff, and his team, at the Service’s honor awards ceremony held May 8, 2019, at the Southeast Regional Office, in Atlanta, Georgia.
