Soldiers marched along a roadway near the Sparta/Fort McCoy Airport on June 24, 2015, while an Air Force C-17 Globmaster III taxied after landing at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The Soldiers and the aircraft were a part of operations on post during the last week of a Combat Support Training Exercise coordinated by the 86th Training Division, a tenant organization of Fort McCoy.
Fort McCoy has supported America’s armed forces since 1909.
The post’s varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, and extensive support infrastructure combine to provide military personnel with an environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for mission success.
