Biography
PFC Alisha Edwards was born in Fontana, CA on December 12th, 1997, to Alfred and Rochelle Edwards. PFC Edwards graduated from Redlands High School in 2016. PFC Edwards attended UCLA for one year, where she competed in high jump on the track and field team, and the University of California, Riverside for her sophomore year where she majored in History.
PFC Edwards enlisted in the Army on May, 21, 2018. Edwards attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC, and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Meade, MD. Edwards graduated AIT on Nov. 7, 2018 earning the MOS 46Q, Public Affairs Specialist. Upon graduating AIT, Edwards was assigned to the 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Fort Hood, TX.
Attending the Visual Storytelling Workshop will help PFC Edwards in improving her visual communication skills needed for her career in public affairs and increase her knowledge in photography and videography. This workshop will be a good opportunity for PFC Edwards to interact with and learn from highly skilled professionals in the career field, and will benefit her young career.
