BAGHDAD – Louisiana National Guard's 225th Engineer Brigade, headquartered in Pineville, La., is currently working to improve bases in Iraq, while on a 365-day deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They are installing screens around the entire parameter of Joint Security Station Ur in northeast Baghdad to increase the compound's defenses against terrorist attacks, as well as finishing construction on a drainage pond to alleviate the ongoing flooding problem at Joint Security Station Ur in northeast Baghdad.
