CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – The 335th Signal Command (Theater) (Provisional) G-4 recently established its own Government Credit Card program. The GPC will allow the G-4 to make purchases without requesting assistance from another unit.
The first purchase was much needed printer cartridges which were procured from an off post vendor in Kuwait City.
According to Maj. Michael Malone, logistics officer, the GPC approval process was expedited with the assistance of Sgt. 1st. Resolve Savage, FUOPS NCOIC. Savage arranged for transportation for the card holder and spoke with individuals to secure their signatures instead the normal process of e-mail.
Having the GPC makes the 335th Signal Command (T) (P) more capable in completing its mission of planning, engineering, integrating, operating, maintaining, and defending the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense Information Network across Southwest Asia in support of USARENT, regionally deployed Combined/Joint Task Forces and partners.
