    ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. -- Sgt. 1st Class Linda Hermesmeyer, operations NCO for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command Headquarters Command Group, was inducted into the Rock Island Arsenal Chapter of the Sgt. Audie Murphy Club here Feb. 22.

    Operations NCO for CSM Ulloth; Coordinate travel, office calls, calendar, VTCs, etc.

    Equipment Specialist/Parts Sergeant; Training Room NCOIC; Drill Sergeant, Operations NCO

    What is the best part of your job?
    Being able to learn and grow in different environments from the new leaders and people I meet.

    What is the best part of being an NCO?
    Leading and training Soldiers

    Why is the NCO Corps important?
    The NCO Corps is important for training, discipline and leadership within the United States Army.

    What is your most meaningful/memorable experience as an NCO?
    Drill Sergeant Time

    What are your future plans?
    Retire with the U.S. Army and work in Crisis Intervention for Soldiers with Degree.
