Golfing off at work
A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work, even if you’re playing a round in the middle of winter.
Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS) hosted a Polar Bear Superball Tournament at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 25, 2019. The golf tournament was held to raise donations for the squadrons’ 2019 Marine Corps Birthday Ball.
Teams consisted of four golfers, with prizes being awarded to the first, second and third place teams. The first place team won a $35 gift card per golfer to use at the Sound of Freedom Golf Course shop at MCAS Cherry Point and the second place team won a free round of golf at the course per golfer.
