Bismarck, N.D. - Army National Guard Snocross snowmobile will be on display at the University of North Dakota's Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., Feb. 13 and 14, 2009, during the hockey game against Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks.

This snowmobile is a replica of the one driven in Snocross competitions by #108 Levi Lavalle, #44 TJ Gullan, #19 Brett Bender, #244 Bobby LePage and #991 Chris Katke. It is making its first appearance to North Dakota. Sgt. 1st Class Bobby Buzick, a Grand Forks area recruiter, is thrilled to have this snowmobile available for display.

"Having the Army National Guard Snocross snowmobile available creates the chance for the public to view a Snocross snowmobile up-close. Additionally, it allows the public and students to discover first-hand what great benefits the N.D. Army National Guard has to offer. I am glad that this opportunity has come to Grand Forks and I hope to see everyone there!"

There will be two N.D. Army National Guard booths set up; one by the main entrance and the other by the student section. The Snocross snowmobile will be located near the student entrance, on the south side of the Ralph Engelstad Arena. There will be information about the N.D. Army National Guard and the benefits offered for students at both locations. You can also register for an Army Combat Uniform (ACU) digital camouflage backpack to be given away along with free personalized dog tags and other Army National Guard memorabilia.

After viewing the display, the North Dakota Army National Guard will take individual or group photos with the Snocross snowmobile. The photos can then be downloaded from the Internet for printing or emailing.

For more information on this Army National Guard Snocross snowmobile or the N.D. Army National Guard, please call Sgt. 1st Class Bobby Buzick or Staff Sgt. Michael Selnes at (701) 795-3848.
