    28th Bomb Wing

More than 100 Airmen from the 37th Bomb Squadron and 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Ellsworth Air Force Base departed Oct. 25 to participate in exercise Green Flag 18-10, which runs from Oct. 25 to Nov. 9.

Green Flag is an air-to-surface training exercise that takes place multiple times a year in various locations across Nevada and California. Exercises such as this are important for pre-deployment training as they simulate realistic situations Airmen may face in future combat missions.
