From the International Security Assistance Force - Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan – Afghan national security force and the International Security Assistance Forces were conducting a routine patrol in the Nangarhar Province of northeastern Afghanistan, Feb. 9, when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.
The attack occurred at approximately 10 a.m. in the Khogyani District. Inquiries regarding ANSF casualties should be referred to the Afghan ministry of defence.
No ISAF soldiers were killed or wounded in the attack. No reports of civilian casualties have been received at this time.
