NAVAL STATION GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba -- The Sick Puppies performed for Joint Task Force Guantanamo Troopers and Naval Station Guantanamo Bay residents, Aug. 28, as part of a three-day tour hosted by Morale, Welfare & Recreation Guantanamo Bay. The band socialized with Troopers at the JTF galley over lunch to learn about the JTF mission before their concert later that evening. Following their two-hour performance, the band hosted a meet-and-greet, handed out free t-shirts, signed photographs, and took photos. The Australian-based rock band formed in 1997 and rose to prominence in 2006. The Sick Puppies are wrapping up their summer tour, which featured shows in Greenland, Bahamas, Honduras, and Cuba.
