BRUSSELS—Soldiers from the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade and the 21st Theater Sustainment Command marched in the Belgian National Day Parade commemorating the 100th Anniversary to mark the end of World War I, here, 21 July, 2018. Units from United States European Command are participating in numerous ceremonies throughout Europe to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice over a century ago.
The parade also presented Soldiers from 12th CAB and 21st TSC a unique opportunity to interact with Belgian Soldiers. They were housed at the Royal Military Academy and received a guided tour at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History.
Belgium has recognized the 21st of July as a national holiday since 1831. This year’s parade included Soldiers from Australia, France, Britain, Canada, and New Zealand.
