Story by Airman 1st Class Thomas Karol

    28th Bomb Wing

The 34th and 37th Aircraft Maintenance Units competed in a load competition at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., July 13, 2018. The two teams competed to see who could load two inert GBU-38/B Joint Direct Attack Munitions and an inert GBU-54 bomb in the fastest time with the fewest errors. Judges based their score on a uniform inspection, tool kit inspection, the loading of the weapons themselves and a written exam.
