The Virgin Islands National Guard Chief of Staff Col. Shawn Harris, 104th Troop Command Staff, Battalion Commander, Maj. Nina Clarke-Brewley and Command Sergeant Maj., Master Sgt. Pete Stapleton visit the 662D Engineer Support Company at Camp Dawson, West Virginia June 21.

The purpose of the visit was to express their support for the VING soldiers while they displayed their skills and talents away from their home station.

While on ground, the team visited several of the work sites where soldiers were getting training on heavy equipment.

” I’m seeing excellent work from the soldiers” said Brewley. “They seem very intrigued to be able to put their skill set to use.”

“I think the soldiers are doing an understanding job and I’m extremely proud of them” said Harris. “This is the type of training our soldiers should be doing and what they are learning on this post I’m looking forward to them bringing it back to the VING.”
