    Military Intelligence Readiness Command

MIRC Commanding General, Brig. Gen. Nixon, @USArmyReserve, stands at the pitcher's mound and slings the ball towards home plate. This would mark the first pitch of the highly acclaimed and anticipated softball game. Where the best players come together and battle it out on the mound. Nixon, used this, "Meet Your Army," opportunity to proudly administer the oath to fifty Future Force Soldiers while simultaneously providing words of encouragement and extending her congratulatory remarks to them all. They were going to fill the ranks of the US Army, Army Reserve and the National Guard. Additionally, her engagements with the Center of Influencers (COIs) and players enabled her to demonstrate to the American Public the various components of the Army and the functions. Ultimately, increasing readiness and awareness of the Reserve Components and the Army as a Total Force. The Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) of Oklahoma, Mr. Kevin Offel, was very grateful to Brig. Gen. Nixon and her dedication to community engagements and outreach efforts. Nixon said, "We appreciate our communities, our families and our employers."
