    Fort Indiantown Gap

    FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa-The installation held a tenant meeting for assigned organizations here April 27.

    The event brought together organizations on post to discuss items of mutual concern. Fort Indiantown Gap is similar to a small city with more than 700 buildings and multiple organizations located within its boundaries. Organizations calling Fort Indiantown Gap home include: Civil Air Patrol, Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, U.S. Army Reserves, All Army Sports and Navy Sea Cadets.

    Attendees received briefings from Lt. Col. Lane Marshall, garrison commander, Mr. David Weisnicht, deputy base operations manager; Lt. Col. Daneen Hutton, director of public works and Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Feagley, noncommissioned officer in-charge of force protection.

    “We want to cultivate an atmosphere of superior customer service to not only our visiting training units but also to our very own tenant units and organizations which play supporting roles in helping fulfill that mission every day,” said Marshall. “Events like these are an opportunity to open the lines of communication with our tenant units and garner suggestions as to how we can better serve the Fort Indiantown Gap community moving into the future.”

    Moving forward the event will be held quarterly. Interested organizations on post should contact the training center for more information at (717) 861-2572.

    Fort Indiantown Gap administered by members of the Pennsylvania National Guard and Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is the busiest Army National Guard training center in the nation.
