Afghan senior leadership from the Ministry of Defense hosted wounded Afghan Commandos and family members of the fallen at Camp Commando, Kabul, Apr. 17, 2018. Members of Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps and U.S. partners gathered to honor Afghan heroes and those wounded in action.
Hero Remembrance events honor the sacrifices of those killed or wounded in action. Throughout the year, ANASOC invites its heroes and families to Camp Commando for these recognition events. During the visits, the wounded receive care for their injuries and the families are recognized for their sacrifices supporting the Commando.
