ISIS-K use mosque to film propaganda

Afghan and U.S. Special Operation Forces captured a stockpile of ISIS-K propaganda products during a Mar. 21 nighttime raid into the heart of ISIS-K in Darzab district, Jowzjan province, northern Afghanistan. The released video compilation was compiled from hours of captured video footage from a target compound. The video clearly depicts ISIS-K filming combat-themed propaganda inside of a Darzab mosque. ISIS-K assumes their terrorist fighters will receive sanctuary by moving their activities inside of designated religious structures.

ISIS-K in Jowzjan recently claimed responsibility for the beheading of a 13-year-old boy for being a relative of a member of the local police force. Rahim was in ISIS-K captivity for one month before his murder. Mohammad Reza, a spokesman for provincial governor, said Rahim was killed following a public trial on Apr. 16. in the boy's home of Bato village of Darzab.
