Brig. Gen. Bertram Providence, Regional Health Command-Pacific commander, presented Col. Laura Trinkle, RHC-P chief of staff, with the American College of Healthcare Executives Army Regent’s Career Achievement Award, March 30 as she was unable to accept the award in person at the annual conference.
In order to receive the award, a variety of criteria must be met, including proven leadership ability, demonstration of innovative and creative management, promoting growth in the organization throughout the community and contributing to the development of others in the healthcare profession.
Trinkle said she’s humbled and honored to receive the award. This award marks her second Army Regent Award. She had previously been awarded the Army Regent’s Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award.
Providence said the caliber of people throughout the region was evident. "This is a well-deserved award and another indicator of the great things people in our region, like Col. Trinkle, do in support of our Army Medicine mission," he said.
