BAGHDAD –Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers seized a weapons cache northwest of Baghdad Dec. 2.
Soldiers of the Company C, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, discovered a weapons cache northwest of Baghdad at approximately 12:20 p.m.
The cache consisted of a 68 mm rocket, a 157 mm mortar round, a 155 mm mortar round, 70 12.75 mm small-arms ammunition, 89 14.5 mm small-arms ammunition, detonation cord and two boxes of Dishka rounds.
An explosive ordnance team arrived on site and properly cleared the munitions.
