CAMP SHELBY, Miss. – The Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center will conduct training at various ranges from March 1 to May 26, 2018, resulting in several road closures.
The Forest Service roads affected by this training include: 304/Davis Range Road; 305I; 305K; 305K1; 311; 311A1; 311B; 367; 367C; 369; 369A; 369B; 369B1; 369D; and 369E.
In addition, the bridge on the South Tank Trail between ranges 48 and 49 will be under construction during March and will not be accessible through Grapevine Road.
Several gate closures and temporary barricades should be expected throughout the range complex and training areas during this time. These areas are off-limits to the public and civilians are not allowed to cross any closed gates or temporary barricades.
Over the next few months, military units may also conduct driving operations at night without headlights. The public is advised to proceed with caution throughout Camp Shelby’s training areas and be aware of these maneuvers as well as traffic control points.
