    Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton

    U.S. Marines recognized as 2nd quarter Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and Marine of the Quarter were presented with Certificates of Commendation and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals by Brig. Gen. Kevin J. Killea, Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations-West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Feb. 22, 2018.

    Lance Cpl Kyle A. Montoya, with Marine Corps Tactical System Support Activity, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, received a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of being selected as an Installation Marine of the Quarter.

    Sgt. David S. Perezsosa, with Security and Emergency Services Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, received a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of being selected as an Installation Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.

    Cpl. Uriah A. Richards, with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in recognition of being selected as a Regional Marine of the Quarter.

    Cpl. Anthony B. Zawalski, with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in recognition of being selected as a Regional Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.

    These designations were established to provide recognition to enlisted Marines who have demonstrated exceptional performance both on and off duty. Marines are initially nominated by their units and go on to compete against their peers. Marines ultimately selected as Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and Marine of the Quarter will then compete for recognition as Noncommissioned Officer of the Year and the Marine of the Year.
