Position Title: Financial Management Analyst Intern, Career Program 11
Series: 0510, 0560, 1515
Grade: GS-7
Geographic Location: Hawaii
Promotion potential: GS-11
Placement factors/Competencies needed:
0510- assisting in interpreting accounting data; or, assisting in maintaining accounting systems; or, analyzing accounting information for solutions; or, assisting in assessing
internal control processes and systems.
0560 -assisting with budget line items; or, assisting in budget formulation; or, assisting in monitoring the expenditure of funds; or, assisting in generating budgetary reports.
1515 - assisting in utilizing a structured approach to solving problems; or, assisting in developing solutions to problems by applying multidisciplinary methods; or, assisting in
analysis and reporting on system safety; or, preparing operations research reports with adherence to prescribed format.

Upon competition of the two (2) year internship program the opportunity to be converted to a permanent Civilian position is possible as long as performance factors are met.
