The SOQs included Electronics Technician 1st Class Jamal Justice, selected as senior; Fire Controlman 2nd Class Jonathon Deconte, selected as junior and Logistic Specialist Seaman Jennifer Valdez, BJOQ.
Command Master Chief TSCHR, Keith Webb said, “There were a number of deserving candidates that were considered, which reflects the high quality and dedication to excellence demonstrated at TSC.”
“The Sailor of the Quarter program gives the command a regular opportunity to recognize outstanding performance, said Webb. “TSCHR is very privileged to have Sailors of this caliber. The competition for this program is always difficult and I think these Sailors are exceptional.”
"I felt completely honored to be recognized as the SOQ," Justice said. "Receiving the award means to me that my command trusts in my work ethic, and that I must continue to earn that trust by doing my very best each and every day."
“Petty Officer Justice was selected as the SOQ because he is a consummate professional who enhances command effectiveness and actively seeks out additional responsibilities,” said Webb.
