PUBLIC NOTICE OF TRAINING AND ROAD CLOSURES AT CAMP SHELBY

CAMP SHELBY, Miss. – The Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center will conduct training at its air to ground range through the end of December.
Several gate closures and temporary barricades should be expected throughout the range complex and training areas during this time. These areas are off-limits to the public and civilians are not allowed to cross any closed gates or temporary barricades.
Over the next few months, military units may also conduct driving operations at night without headlights. The public is advised to proceed with caution throughout Camp Shelby’s training areas and be aware of these maneuvers as well as traffic control points.
The bridge on the South Tank Trail near training range 18 is scheduled to be under construction until around December 31, 2017. The public should be prepared to take detoured routes during this time period.

LIST OF ROAD CLOSURES

1-5 December:
The Forest Service roads affected during this time are: 304/Davis Range Road, 305I, 305K, 305K1, 311, 311B, 367C, 369B, 369D.

3-8 December, 11-15 December:
The Forest Service Roads affected during this time are: 312B, Dewey Road, and the Access Road to Oil Well USA 21-4.

7-10 December:
The Forest Service Roads affected during this time are: 305I, 305K, 305K1, 367, 367C, 311, 311B.

7-11 December, 14-18 December:
The Forest Service roads affected during this time are: 304/Davis Range road, 305I, 305K, 305K1, 311, 311A1, 311B, 367C, 369, 369A, 369B, 369B1, 369D, and 369E.

1-31 December
The bridge on the South Tank Trail near range 18 will be under construction until around 31 December.
