JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas --
The U.S. Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron "Thunderbirds" arrived Nov. 2 at Joint Base San Antonio-Kelly Field in anticipation for the 2017 JBSA Air Show and Open House taking place Nov. 4-5.
The Thunderbirds will begin their performance during the Air Show by issuing the Oath of Enlistment to new men and women joining the Air Force Nov. 4 and will perform for the public at 3 p.m. both days of the Air Show Nov. 4-5 and during the rehearsal day Nov.3.
With a legacy stretching back to May 25, 1953, the Thunderbirds are the embodiment of pride, professionalism and dedication.
Over the years the Thunderbird's demonstrations have entertained millions of people around the world, each year bringing another opportunity for the team to represent those who deserve the most credit: the everyday, hard-working Airmen voluntarily serving America and defending freedom.
