    23rd Wing

Firefighters from the 23d Civil Engineer Squadron, conducted aircraft fire training Aug. 24, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga.
Firefighters from the 23d CES hold training exercises once a month to sharpen their skills and ensure readiness.
“We always want to ensure we’re on top of our game in case an aircraft goes down and catches on fire,” said Airman First Class Lucas Black, 23d CES firefighter. “We’re always practicing different scenarios because you never know when or where a fire could break out.”
