The purpose of this event was to help readjust the Soldiers in post deployment to a lifestyle outside of a deployed atmosphere.
“Reintegration is not something that you do on your own,” said Maj. Deanna Manriquez, Operations Officer of the 103rd Troop Command. “Its something you use each other for and for you to use the support system that is available to you.”
The program included briefs from several different speakers who provided information regarding things such as resilience training, education benefits and stress management among several other subjects that are essential to the everyday lives of Guardsman.
Various speakers attended the program in order to support the Guardsman in ways that would make reintegration into society more seamless and ensure that they utilize all the benefits available to them.
