KABUL, Afghanistan — Six civilians, including one child, were killed and four wounded when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device at about 9 a.m. Sept. 22, 2008, near Tarin Kowt, Uruzgan.
International Security Assistance Force troops immediately responded, provided medical assistance and evacuated the injured to ISAF clinics for further medical treatment.
ISAF strongly condemns this indiscriminate act against innocent Afghan civilians.
