KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan national security forces and ISAF troops gave medical treatment to wounded civilians after insurgents fired rockets at an ISAF base in Zirok District, Paktika, Sept. 19, 2008.

The insurgents' rockets landed in a field where local women and children were working. The attack killed four, including a child.

Following the attack, ISAF responded with artillery fire directed at the enemy firing position.

This again serves to underline the insurgents' complete disregard for Afghan civilians.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
