CAMP STRIKER, Iraq – A tip led Rakkasan Soldiers to a cache approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Baghdad Aug. 10, 2008.

Soldiers from Company C, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), found a cache that included a rocket-propelled grenade launcher and 11 RPG warheads.

Explosive ordnance disposal personnel destroyed the munitions with a controlled detonation.

"Iraqi and coalition forces continuously work to rid the streets throughout the Mahmudiyah Qada of dangerous weapons," said Col. Dominic Caraccilo, commander of 3rd BCT, 101st Abn. Div.
