Narration:
The Okinawan Joint Experience is a professional military education week focused on the multi-service partnerships we maintain in the military.
SB (CMSgt Rogers):
We have such a unique opportunity to have all of the services here and so being able to expose our service members to each of the services and bringing them together to see how collectively we work together to perform the bigger mission.
Narration:
The integration of all branches during the joint experience creates an atmosphere for the students to train together and learn different perspectives of completing the mission.
SB:
No service does it alone, it’s important that we understand the other services capabilities, the other services mission and how that overall affects the strategic mission that we have in the military.
Narration:
For five days the students traveled around the island of Okinawa touring different operational capabilities, we as a force, can accomplish.
SB (SFC Pickron):
This is a great program that should continue so the rapport continues and we just become tighter so when we do affect the missions it’ll create less boundaries and less hiccups between the missions and barriers.
Sb:
The relationships that we build between the services that our students build are everlasting.
Narration:
The innovation and creativity across our branches is the growing foundation for providing peace in the pacific. Senior Airman Devin Nothstine, Kadena Air Base, Japan.
