Newly arrived U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie L. Yovanovitch spent part of Ukrainian Independence Day visiting the memorial to the Heavenly Hundred. The memorial honors those that gave their lives on the most violent day of the Euromaidan Revolution. Ambassador Yovanovitch placed flowers at the memorial site and toured the Maidan, in addition to attending a service at St. Sophia's Church and visiting the ATO memorial.
