Soldiers and family members of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division explored the surrounding Fort Stewart, Georgia area during a motorcycle safety ride May 26.
Leaders with the company’s Motorcycle Mentorship Program conducted a monthly inspection of the motorcycles, which included tire pressure, lights and personal protective equipment.
“The purpose of the Motorcycle Mentorship Program is to establish voluntary installation-level motorcycle clubs where less experienced and seasoned riders can create a supportive environment of responsible motorcycle riding and enjoyment,” according to the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center website.
