Coast Guard Capt. Anthony Ceraolo, PATFORSWA commodore, presided over the ceremonies as Lt. Justin Fellers relieved Lt. Jesse Summerlin as commanding officer of Cutter Monomoy, and Lt. Keith Blevins relieved Lt. Todd Batten as commanding officer of Cutter Aquidneck.
PATFORSWA is the Coast Guard's largest unit outside of the United States,
and plays a key role in theater security cooperation, maritime security and
maritime infrastructure protection operations throughout the U.S. Navy's
Central Command area of operations. The Monomoy and Aquidneck are two of six 110-foot cutters operating under NAVCENT.
