FORT STEWART, Ga. - Soldiers of 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division guided cadets of Emanuel County Institute's Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps on an installation tour of Fort Stewart, Georgia, April 14.
The cadets conducted virtual simulations at the Engagement Skills Trainer Facility, EST, with M4 carbines. They also explored Warriors Walk. This walkway is dedicated to fallen Soldiers of 3rd Infantry Division and attached units who served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Following the EST and Warriors Walk, the cadets viewed a static display of a truck with a load handling system and various weapons systems at the 703rd BSB motor pool.
Afterward, cadets ate lunch at the 2nd IBCT dining facility where Soldiers interacted with the cadets and answered questions about military life.
The event was designed to give cadets a better grasp on Army life with respect to manning, equipping and training Soldiers.
