BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan – Six militants were detained Sunday during a coalition forces operation to disrupt Taliban improvised explosive device activities in Zadran District.
Coalition forces searched multiple areas in Zadran District targeting a Haqqani network commander and his organization. The targeted network is suspected of financing extremist operations and two direct IED attacks against the Afghan national police.
