FORT BRAGG, N.C. – This week’s ‘Lightning’ Soldier Spotlight is Spc. Christal Perry, a geospatial imagery analyst.
Perry, a Chesapeake, Va. native, joined the Army in 2013 and the ‘Lightning’ Brigade is her first assignment.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy gardening
Q: What are you long term goals?
A: I plan to finish my bachelor’s degree in geography.
Q: Why did you join the Army?
A: I joined the Army because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do once my kids got older.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being at Fort Bragg?
A: My favorite part about being stationed here is being close to home, in the middle of everything, close to the beach and mountains.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being a Soldier?
A: My favorite part about being in the Army is the camaraderie and a sense of pride.
