BARSTOW, Calif. - Members of the Defense Acquisition University toured Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Oct. 20.
The DAU was created by the Department of Defense out of a critical need to provide leaders with high levels of knowledge in the acquisition, technology and logistics workforces within the DoD.
The logistics professionals spent the day touring the Nebo side of MCLB Barstow then heading to the Yermo annex. They visited Fleet Support Division, Rail Operations and Production Plant Barstow. They also visited the crowd favorite of the test track to watch military vehicles reconditioned or repaired at the base go through their paces over various manmade obstacles and water hazards.
