WASHINGTON - Bolling Family Housing, a Hunt Military Community, hosted its annual Fall Festival for residents and their guests at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Oct. 7.
Hunt’s Community Director Tamara Patrick said Hunt sponsored the festival, complete with carnival rides and games, raffle giveaways, food, drinks and a fall photo backdrop station, because they’re committed to placing tremendous focus and emphasis on building a sense of community with the use of family sponsored events. This year’s festival turned out more than 600 residents and guests, nearly doubling last year’s turnout.
“The event was one of many free annual events hosted by Bolling Family Housing and is a way that we show our appreciation for our residents,” Patrick said. “We plan to host a similar festival event next year incorporating additional entertainment options based on feedback solicited from our residents.”
