    North Dakota Guard’s Civil Support Team to train with local fire department

    MANDAN, N.D. — The North Dakota National Guard’s 81st Civil Support Team (CST), in conjunction with the Mandan Fire Department, will conduct a HAZMAT emergency response exercise beginning at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 28.

    The exercise will be conducted near the Dacotah Speedway in Mandan. The CST will train on identifying, evaluating, minimizing and eliminating threats, in their quest to protect the civilian population. Media is invited to report on the training.

    The 81st Civil Support, comprised of North Dakota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, stands ready to respond immediately, at any time of day or night, to chemical, nuclear, biological, radiological and explosive hazards.
