    Warrior Q & A

Q: How long have you been doing your job?

A: I have been in this position for three months.

    Q: What are your goals?

A: I would like to learn as much as I can, whenever I can, and be great at what I do.

    Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I love to lift weights, travel and take pictures.

Q: What do you like most about the Army?

A: Sergeant major has entrusted me to do my job without any interference, and I like that he has given me the opportunity to achieve more than I expected.

Q: What would you change about the military service life?

A: In every duty station, you experience something different, so I cannot think of something that needs to be changed.

    Q: Describe your military career.

A: I graduated basic training in February 2013 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and I completed advanced individual training in May 2013 at Fort Lee, Virginia. My first duty station was in South Korea, where I was a shop supply listing clerk in a combat aviation brigade. After completing my one-year tour in South Korea, I went to Baumholder, Germany, where I was a SSL clerk at the 240th Quartermaster Support Motor Pool. A year later, I moved to the 240th Supply Support Activity as a team leader, and now I am the administrative assistant 16th SB CSM.

Q: What do you like most about being stationed in Germany?

A: I have the opportunity to travel and explore the beauty and flaws of multiple countries in Europe.

Q: What is your favorite movie genre?

A: Action, horror, comedy - it all depends on how I feel at the moment.

Q: What are you most proud of?

A: I am proud of being part of the Army.

Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?

    A: I would want a shovel, 550 cord and a poncho.

Q: Name someone who has influenced or inspired you during your military career and explain why.

A: I have had a few people who have inspired me. Spc. Han in South Korea always pushed me to do better and be better. Staff Sgt. Garner of the 240th Quartermaster Support Company took care of and respected his soldiers. Sgt. 1st Class Valino of the 240th Quartermaster Support Company is "by the book" and believes in mutual respect and understanding. He put the Select- Train- Educate- Promote program in effect. Noncommissioned officers and Soldiers make an impact on the way I view things, and I am grateful for that.

Q: If you could meet one individual, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

A: I would like to meet Gandhi.
