JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) will host a preview of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Tattoo on Sept.16 at 7:15 p.m., on the Air Force Ceremonial Lawn at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).

The event will feature performances by the USAF Thunderbirds, the F-22 Raptor Demonstration team, the United States Special Operations Command Para-Commandos jump team, the USAF Band and Honor Guard, and more.

The event, a combination of music, drill and ceremony, and aircraft performances, honors Airmen - past and present - who make up the world’s premier Air Force as it celebrates its 68th birthday.

The event is open to all DOD ID card holders. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as the Arnold Gate will close at 7:15 p.m., Sept. 16 and parking is limited. Parking for the event will be available in the Military Personnel Flight parking lot, which is located at the corner of Brookley Ave. and MacDill Blvd.
