    99th Readiness Division

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. – The Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command has been awarded the Association of the United States Army’s “Greatest Support to the AUSA by a U.S. Army Reserve RSC.”

“The 99th RSC was chosen based on input from member chapters within the 99th’s footprint,” explained retired Lt. Col. Mark D. Wolf, assistant director of Army Reserve Affairs for the AUSA. “These chapters submit Chapter Activity Reports that describe individual examples of support.”

The award presentation is scheduled to take place Oct. 12 during the opening ceremony for the AUSA’s conference at the Walter Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.

Founded in 1950, the AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - active, National Guard, Reserve, civilians, retirees, government civilians, wounded warriors, veterans, and family members. AUSA provides numerous professional-development opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.

The 99th RSC’s mission is to provide facilities, programs and services to Soldiers, civilians and their families in the 13-state Northeast Region, to support Army readiness, to sustain the All-Volunteer Force and to ensure infrastructure for current and future mission requirements.

The 99th supports Soldiers in many ways, such as providing vehicle maintenance at 26 Area Maintenance Support Activities, equipment storage and maintenance at nine Equipment Concentration Sites, administrative support at 14 Regional Personnel Action Center hubs and satellite offices, and training support at more than 250 Reserve Centers located throughout its 13-state region.
