1st ABCT set to welcome new senior enlisted adviser

1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division

FORT HOOD, Texas - The 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division is slated to host a change of responsibility ceremony at 9 a.m. on Sept. 3 on Cooper Field here.

Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph C. Cornelison will relinquish responsibility of the brigade to Command Sgt. Maj. Michael J. Coffey.

Coffey previously served as the senior enlisted leader for the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment (Air Assault), 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Cornelison, who assumed responsibility of the 1st ABCT, 1st Cav. Div. April 7, 2014, is slated to assume responsibility of the 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas, later this year.
