    FORT HOOD, Texas -- Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died Aug. 21 from injuries suffered in automobile accident in Killeen, Texas.

    Spc. Carlo Cassavettis Westbrook, 21, whose home of record is listed as Malvern, Arkansas, entered active-duty service in October 2012 as motor transport operator. He was assigned to Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, since July 2015.

    Westbrook's awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.

    Circumstances surrounding this accident are under investigation.
