HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas - III Corps Soldiers smooths process at local school on students first day back.
Nine soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarter Battalion, III Corps, volunteered to pass out class schedules and assist students in the hallways on the first day of school at Eastern Middle School, in Harker Heights, Texas, Aug. 24.
The Headquarter and Headquarters Battalion, III Corps are adopt-a-school partners with Eastern Hills Middle School where soldiers volunteer to help the staff with events that can be overwhelming in nature.
